Thursday, September 1st, 2016 is our Grade 9 Orientation. All CHCI grade 9 students are invited to attend this fun, informative orientation which begins at 9am and ends at 1pm. Students will meet their link crews and link leaders. Students will also receive their timetables, their lockers and their chromebooks. Locker locks MUST be combination type locks. Students can bring their own lock or can purchase one from the main office for $5.00. Chromebooks will be given out to students who have their completed “Chromebook Acknowledgement Form“. Looking forward to seeing all grade 9’s on Thursday, September 1st at 9am in the school cafeteria. A BBQ will occur at 12:30pm and parents can pick their son/daughter up at the school at 1pm.

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! This is an exciting time to be a student in a grade 9 class in the Waterloo Region District School Board. All high schools will be participating in the Chromebook 1:1 Initiative. This means every student in a grade 9 class is going to receive a Chromebook for use throughout their high school career.
Please read the CHCI Chromebook Letter and Acknowledgement. Students are expected to print and submit this completed Acknowledgement at the Grade 9 BBQ on Thursday, September 1st, 2016. Parent or guardian signatures are required. There will be copies available at the BBQ if printing is an issue.
