Grade 9 art is a class of exploration and skill building with activities focusing on: drawing and value studies, clay sculpture, printmaking, watercolour painting, and design.
10	AWD2OI Media Arts ​	None	Do you want to unleash your creativity and learn the latest skills in Graphic Design, Photography and Media Arts? In this course, you will discover how to create amazing 3D photos, animated gifs, digital artworks, logos and 3D models. You will express your unique voice and style through the design of buttons, keychains, stickers and digital products such as animations and prints. This course is a fun and engaging way to explore the world of graphic design and media arts. Join us and let your imagination soar!
10	AVI2OI Visual Arts	None	This course builds on the foundations established in AVI1OI. Students’ ability in painting, design, drawing and sculpture will be further developed. This course provides a variety of materials and arts experiences for many different types of Visual Arts students.
11	AWS3OI Digital Arts ​	None	Get hands-on with videography and film production. Learn practical techniques to make all your videos better. You will produce a variety of video projects, individually and collaboratively, in different styles and genres. You’ll learn key skills like composition, editing, sound design and storytelling. We’ll dissect films and videos to see what makes them tick.

11	​AVI3MW IB Visual Arts	​AVI1OI / AVI2OI / AWD2OI	Pick your focus in either: Drawing, Painting, Photography, Film or Digital Art or try it all! Create professional quality artwork and portfolios that Universities are looking for. This class gives you the critical thinking skills that will prepare you for exciting futures in the arts and many other fields beyond the arts.
11	​AWT3MI Yearbook	AVI1OI / AVI2OI / AWD2OI	Students will learn skills in design, photography and editorial to create the school yearbook. Students will have the opportunity to photograph sports, events and assemblies while documenting school culture.
11	​AWQ3MI Digital Photography	AVI1OI / AVI2OI / AWD2OI	This course provides students with a great opportunity to explore the medium of digital photography and take some incredible photos. Students will develop the necessary skills required to photograph various subjects on location and in studio settings.
12	AVI4MI Visual Arts ​	AWS3MI AVI3MI / 3MW AWQ3MI AWT3MI	Drawing, painting, sculpture, and artistic research are designed to give the senior art student a strong exposure to a variety of art practices. The development of an art portfolio for college and university admissions features highly in this course
12	AVI4MW IB Visual Arts ​	AVI3MW	A continuation of AVI3MW and must be taken in Grade 11. (fees apply)

12	AWE4MI Graphic Design ​	AWS3MI AVI3MI / 3MW AWQ3MI AWT3MI​	In this course, students will create a variety of fun projects in both digital and print form. Using current technology, students will produce a variety of projects including logo development, product packaging creation and mobile application design. No previous Graphic Design experience is necessary.
12	AWR4MI Film/Video Production ​	AWS3MI AVI3MI / 3MW AWQ3MI AWT3MI	Enjoy viewing some of the best films ever made and making your own. The viewing component emphasizes deconstruction, examining the most important elements and production techniques. The production portion is designed to work through all of the stages of film-making from idea generation, script-writing, filming, editing and post-production. You will make films from different genres, working either independently or in groups.
​12	​AWQ4MI Digital Photography ​	AWS3MI AVI3MI / 3MW AWQ3MI AWT3MI​	Have fun with digital photography and learn how use professional cameras and your cell phone. Take awesome portraits using professional quality photography studio lighting and backdrops. Get a collection of photos and skills that will be sure to impress!
