Hours

The school library is open throughout the day from 8:00-3:15.

• Colouring materials

Loan Periods

The normal loan period is three weeks and books may be renewed for an additional three weeks

Library Learning Commons

The Library Learning Commons provides online access to library resources. You can search the library catalogue as well as accessing journals, magazine articles, encyclopedias, films and E-books. This is done using your PAL user name and password on any computer or mobile device. Please see the Teacher-Librarian for more information.

Overdue Notices

You are responsible for returning all materials by the required due date.  

Notices of items that are past due are regularly emailed to your WRDSB email account. Please respond to the first notice and return materials promptly.  Your borrowing privileges may be withheld until accounts are cleared.

School Library Webpage

The CHCI Library Page provides access to a wide range of electronic resources for research and study skills such as access to the collection, research templates and citation tools.  These resources may be used at school or at home.  

Food

Food is not permitted in the library.  Please only bring water in a container with a lid.
