It is with a very heavy heart that the Cameron Heights community mourns the loss of Mr. George Frengos. Mr. Frengos passed away unexpectedly December 26 at his home. Mr. Frengos joined Cameron as a teacher over 20 years ago and has been a fixture in our English department ever since. His positive relationships with students and staff made him a very popular staff member. Mr. Frengos was a compassionate and caring teacher who was dedicated to supporting all of his students. In honour of Mr. Frengos, the flags at Cameron Heights, and the Waterloo Region District School Board, will be flown at half mast from January 2 to January 12.

Mr. Frengos’ family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm on Friday, January 5th, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. A funeral will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 in the funeral home chapel. A complete obituary can be found at henrywalser.com.
