In April, Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute hosted Cameron’s Got Talent. The talent show served as an opportunity for students to showcase their talent and build confidence in public performance. Acts included students demonstrating their skills and talents in singing, acrobatic routines, or special abilities, like solving a Rubik’s Cube in under a minute. Students who were not performing were encouraged to come out, watch and cheer on the acts. 

Three acts progressed from the talent show into the upcoming Spring Spirit Assembly. These acts included a graceful dance routine, a captivating singing performance, and an exciting jump rope display.. All three performers did amazingly, grabbing the audience’s attention and praise. After the assembly concluded, students voted on the winning act, with the jump rope display being voted the top performance.

Cameron’s Got Talent supports students in being role models for their peers, showing them that taking risks can result in big wins and meaningful learning.
