Region of Waterloo Emergency Shelter at 104 Stirling Ave South

The number of individuals currently experiencing homelessness in the Waterloo Region is unprecedented. In response to urgent needs, the Region of Waterloo will be opening an emergency shelter at 104 Stirling Avenue South, in the former Edith MacIntosh Child Care Centre in Kitchener. This site will house between 26 to 30 individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness.

Grade 8 Information Night – Wednesday November 15 2023

Cameron Heights would like to invite all grade 8 students and their families, to our grade eight information night on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 6:00pm-8:00pm. This evening is for all students who live in the Cameron Heights boundary, and any student interested in the International Baccalaureate program.

The evening will be comprised of information sessions and a school open house tour.  Information sessions will be held at 6:00pm and 7:00pm in the cafeteria.  Please attend one information session only.  The school will be open the entire evening, for a self guided tour with information from many of our subject areas.
