How to Register at CHCI
If you are interested in registering at Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute (CHCI), please verify whether you live in the school boundary before completing the online registration.
Please use the School Eligibility website to determine which school boundary you live in.
If you are new to the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB), please register using our Online Registration Portal . Please create an account to access the Online Registration Forms.
After you submit your Online Registration, you will receive an email regarding next steps. Need help with our Online Registration? Read our Registration Instructions.

Currently registered at a WRDSB or a WCDSB school?
Please ask your current Vice Principal to complete a Principal to Principal Transfer. Once the Transfer is approved, we will contact you for a registration appointment, via email.
New to Canada?
If you are a temporary resident in Canada (e.g. work permit, study permit, visitor visa), please visit the International Families Page to start the registration process.
If the student is new to Canada, and their first language is not English, you will need to book an assessment at our WRDSB Welcome Centre.
Required Documentation
Once a registration appointment with the school has been booked, you will need to bring the following documents to the school to complete your registration:
- Proof of Address: Current utility bill, proof of Ontario Property Assessment Notice or lease agreement.
- Proof of Birth (original documents only – copies are not permitted): Birth Certificate, Canadian Passport, birth registration, citizenship card or certified statement of live birth.
- Proof of Custody (if applicable): Custody orders, court-ordered Guardianship
- Immigration documents where required
- School documents: Report cards, Student Status/Summary, and or Transcript.
Student Immunization is not collected at the school level. Please submit your student’s immunization record to the Region of Waterloo Public Health.
