UPDATE: 10:42 a.m.

Waterloo Regional Police Service have lifted the hold and secure at CHCI. All students and staff are safe and the school day will continue as normal.

At around 9:40 a.m., a Hold and Secure was issued at Cameron Heights CI due to a threat. Waterloo Region Police Services have been called and are investigating the incident. Throughout a Hold and Secure, school life continues as normal inside the school, but outer doors are locked and no one enters or leaves the building.
