What it Means for Families
Families and caregivers will be unable to access the online registration portal during this time period.
I Need to Register
You can begin the registration process online after August 17. The first day of classes is Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Students should register by August 29, 2024 to begin on September 4.
To allow schools time to process registrations, please submit your registration as early as possible. Schools will be open to the public for registration appointments on August 26. Pre-submitting your registration online will simplify the registration process.
The following documentation is required to register:
- Proof of Birth: Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, Passport
- Proof of Address: A copy of a Property tax or Utility Bill containing parent/guardian name & address of residence, A copy of a purchase or rental agreement for a residence
- Student Records: Copy of the students Credit Counselling Summary, Transcripts, or Previous Report Cards
If you are currently enrolled in a WRDSB Secondary School, please speak with your current Vice-Principal and request a “Principal-to-Principal” transfer.
New to Canada?
Our International Admissions Office is open Monday through Thursday during the summer. Email international@wrdsb.ca once your student is living in Waterloo Region to start your registration.
