January 31, February 1, and February 2 are end of semester assessment and evaluation days.  Students should only attend school on these days if they are requested to do so by their teacher.  Please note that each of these days has a unique schedule

Teachers may expect students to come to school on these days for exams (grade 11-12 only), performance tasks, credit rescue, or another assessment related reason agreed upon by the teacher and the student.

All buses will run on their regular schedule.  ACE students will be at school on these days.  If an end of semester assessment and evaluation day is impacted by weather related cancellations it will be moved to the following non-weather impacted school day.  Weather related information will be communicated via local radio stations, WRDSB social media, and on wrdsb.ca by 6:30 am if a school day is affected.

Final assessments and evaluations are not limited to the three days at the end of the semester.  They are taking place in all courses throughout the last few weeks. Demonstration of learning can take a variety of forms which may include portfolios, demonstrations, projects, exit interviews, conferences, or tests.  To allow students to prepare for and complete these important end of semester activities there will be no field trips, WCSSAA games or practices, or school events from January 24-February 2.

Friday February 3 is a PD day.  The first day of Semester 2 is Monday February 6.
