Parents play a vital role in education. When parents are engaged and involved, everyone—students, parents, and families, teachers, schools, and communities–benefits, and our schools become increasingly rich and positive places to teach, learn, and grow.

All CHCI parents/guardians/caregivers are welcome to attend CHCI’s School Council meetings. We will plan to hold four of our meetings this school year; two meetings will be virtual (September 17 and February 18) and two meetings will in-person in the CHCI Library (November 22 and May 13).
If you are interested in joining our CHCI School Council meeting, please complete this FORM, which will allow us to add you to our School Council email list and you will receive a Google calendar invitation to each of our meetings.

Parent Involvement Committee
The Parent Involvement Committee supports, encourages and enhances the engagement of parents/guardians of the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) in their children’s education, to improve student achievement and well-being. Learn more about the Parent Involvement Committee.
Waterloo Region Assembly of Public School Councils (WRAPSC)
