We’re excited to share important semester 2 start-up details with our students and families.
First Day of Semester 2 Schedule:
The first day of semester 2 is Monday, February 2, 2026. We will follow our regular CHCI Bell Schedule. Please note we start on a week 1 day. You’ll note that on our CHCI School Year Calendar Week 1 is colour coded in green and Week 2 is colour coded in yellow.
Kick off your semester 2 with a free Pancake Breakfast in the cafeteria from 7:30 am to 8:00 am.
Student Timetables:
Timetables were sent to students’ WRDSB email the week of January 12, 2026. Students have been asked to share this information with their parent(s)/guardian(s)/caregiver(s) and are asked to take note of their course, teacher’s name, and classroom number so that our friendly and helpful CHCI staff can assist students as they navigate their way to their semester 2 classes.
Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up Location:
Students who do not have transportation provided are encouraged to walk, bike or take public transit to school. All student drop-off and pick-up must occur in the areas surrounding Cameron Heights, including in the student parking lot, located across Stirling Ave across the street from the school. There is no student drop-off or pick-up in the CHCI parking lot, laneway, or roundabout.
School Bus Information:
Families should access the Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region (STSWR) website to obtain information or inquire about school bus access.
