Dear Cameron families,

The motto for Cameron Heights is Together as One. With that in mind, this year we have decided to start a new fundraising initiative, Gaels for Gaels. Throughout the Month of Giving, proceeds will go to Gaels for Gaels, to help families in need.
This past year has brought a significant increase to the needs of our Cameron Community. This year we have students in distress and challenging situations, leading into the winter season. A number of our families are struggling to provide housing for their families, with some living in emergency shelter situations.
The KW region has a significant number of families who are accessing food assistance programs. In the KW region alone this is up 256% from last year. Our families and students are struggling to have food, shelter and basic needs. As a supportive school community we would like to help our families to provide these essential needs.
We appreciate your efforts during the month of giving to help our students.
