We have received updated communication from IBO regarding the assessment of our May 2020 IB candidates.
This is a summary of the information we have received. There are still many questions that our school has regarding this procedure, and we have already contacted IBO for answers. At this time, this is what we know. We will provide further updates as we receive more information.
- Schools will upload ALL internal assessments by April 20th. In the past, we have uploaded a random sample of our IAs. This year, we will upload all student IAs and they will be assessed by IBO. Schools will provide Predicted Grades for all students.
How the Final Results Will be Calculated by IBO
- IBO will be using vast historical assessment data to ensure that we follow a rigorous process of due diligence in what is a truly unprecedented situation. We will be undertaking significant data analysis from previous exam sessions, individual school data, subject data as well as comparative data of schools who have already completed uploading requirements and those who have not.
