Message From Mr. Teed – Dec 10th 2018

To our Cameron Heights CI students and families,

This morning, our staff were made aware of graffiti found on school property that was
threatening in nature. This threat was immediately reported to the Waterloo Regional
Police Service who are currently investigating to determine the author of the message.
There was no evidence found to support that this threat is credible.

It is unacceptable to make threats, written or verbal, towards anyone. No matter the
intention, we take any intimidation or threat of violence seriously and the authors of
these threats need to understand that they will be held accountable.

As we identify the individuals responsible for this threatening remark, they are subject to
consequences and progressive discipline that may result in:
· arrest and criminal charges and;
· suspension or expulsion from school

As we work closely with our partners at WRPS, we ask for the ongoing assistance of
our students to report any information you may have of this incident. You can
confidentially report things that concern you to any teacher, administrator or local police.
You can also contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 without fearing that you will be
identified.

We want to thank our partners at WRPS for helping to keep our schools safe places to
learn. We will always take whatever precaution is necessary to ensure the safety of our
